Donut anyone?

My family LOVES some Krispy Kreme donuts! When Tim and I see that "Hot N Now" light on at our local shop, we get really, really excited! So, it made me pretty proud to see that the Jessee side of my family share this same connection to the little, sugary pieces of heaven.

We also enjoy a good challenge, and this puzzle was that exactly. I found it in the back of my Memaw's closet and got to work on it the very night I arrived. It was a tough one, with lots of blacks and purples and shadows in the picture. I recruited lots of help though. (Can you tell how excited Uncle Ed is about the puzzle....and boy was he tons of help!)

Unfortunately, we never did finish the entire thing. Julie wasn't too shy to brush it all off the table and back into the box once we realized all that was left was black and purple pieces! I was sad to see all of my hard work come apart and fall back into the box, but relieved at the same time since it was starting to make me crazy!!!!

I love spending time with my family - it truly is one of my favorite things to do!
